In our proposal, we make the “basement head above the water”, that is to say, lift up the whole site, or we say, creating man-made
landform in order to make the parking lot, entry and exit of vehicle lanes and freight below the soil landscape. The soil landscape
may use the backfill from construction excavation.

All public and communal areas are located on the ground floor, with all other functions that require greater security and privacy above.Therefore, the ‘CENTERAL PARK’ concept is strengthened by extending the park into the ground floor interior which could be mostly glazed and thus allow views outwards, sunlight and enable people to move freely between inside and outside.

2013 winter, the fashion Landmark of Xintiandi in Shanghai is celebrating Christmas on the theme of the kiss. Inspired by the Auguste Rodin's sculpture, "KISS", we interweave the circulation and promote visitors' interaction.

We were given the task of developing the interior of an existing Min Gou Style Building from the 1930's. We tried to incorporate much of the traditional style and tone of the buildings origin integrated with a more modern design philosophy.

Jinchuan Maike's office in Shanghai is a 1500 sqm space on the 73th floor of the World Financial Center in Pudong. The pure and calm design with materials create a sensitive atmosphere and homogenous space with character.

Matsu office is located along a deep alley of Shanghai's French Concessions. Our strategy is to identify and intensify this sense of excitement.The focus of the building's design is to create a very modern and graceful office which contrasts the dilapidation of the neighborhood whilst retaining a harmony in the juxtaposition.
